Miss Debbie comes to the TDC family with a tremendous amount of training and professional experience. Graduating from Nashville School of the Arts with a focus on Dance, Miss Debbie went on to achieve her BFA in Dance from Arizona State University and her MFA in Dance from Temple University. She has danced professionally with a number of companies including Thodos Dance Chicago, Aaron McGloin Dance, Conder/ Dance, Found Movement Group, Larry Keigwan, and Liz Lerman. She has choreographed for Philadelphia Fringe Festival and taught at Vanderbilt University, Temple University, and the American College Dance Festival. In fact, Miss Debbie has taught community dance all over the United States, Ecuador and Russia. Miss Debbie is currently a teacher for the Elite Competition team, instructing Jazz and Lyrical teams at all ages. She has been awarded multiple choreography awards at regional competitions for her moving and creative pieces. Outside of the studio, Miss Debbie loves being a mom and traveling with her husband and kids to visit family on other parts of the country. Miss Debbie and her husband, Trey, moved to the area from Tennessee and have made New Jersey their permanent home. Their sons, Jack and Liam, can often be spotted at the studio watching their mom work. Miss Debbie treasures her connection to the TDC family: “I love this place. When I first moved here I taught at three different places, but after the first year TDC was the only place I wanted to be. I love the staff and the students so much!”
