Nagele, Shannon
Miss Shannon is the resident tap expert of the TDC family. Miss Shannon is so excited to rejoin the TDC staff after a year out of state. With 17 years of training at North Jersey School of Dance Arts, Miss Shannon brings a depth of experience to her instruction. Miss Shannon’s favorite style of dance is tap. She has had many choreography experiences, creating routines for 30+ tappers! She loves to put together big tap numbers! Miss Shannon has attended TAPCITY many times taking master classes and participating in tap jams. She also ran TCNJ Rhythm from 2004-2007. Miss Shannon has been teaching competition tap since 2014 and she has instructed every level of tap at TDC: Levels 1-5, Elite Team, and Adult. Her youngest student was 3 years old and her oldest was 82 years old! Outside of the studio, Miss Shannon is a Registered Nurse. She has also worked as an elementary school teacher. When she is not tapping, Miss Shannon enjoys sewing, reading, traveling, and drinking all the tea. Miss Shannon is the proud mom of three beautiful daughters- look for them around the studio! Miss Shannon and her husband Eric enjoy taking their girls on road trips up and down the eastern seaboard. Fun fact: Miss Shannon wears custom made Capezio K360s that are 10 years old and are the most comfortable shoes she owns! What Miss Shannon loves most about TDC is “the family feel and the support of other teachers.”
